Scary Looking The Mummies of the World: The Franklin Institute from Philadelphia invites visitors to an unusual exhibition called “Mummies of the world.” Every exhibit in this exhibition is unique. Here you can see the dog who’s remains were buried in peat bogs in Germany about five hundred years, and embalmed child, who lived 6420 years ago in Peru.

The exhibition features forty-five mummies and ninety-five items related to mummification and embalming. The exhibition “Mummies of the World” was prepared with the participation of experts from fifteen European institutions under the auspices of the German Museum Reiss Engelhorn-Mannheim. The exhibition has visited many major U.S. cities.

Few days back we got word just like other various sites that the Quai 54 was going to be making a U.S. release on July 2nd at select House of Hoops locations....this is confirmed that they will NOT RELEASE in the U.S. at all. Confirmed by Jordan Brand that they were exclusively as a Euro release. So no clear bottoms for the states or anything like that. Happy hunting online...just remember to watch for Fakes and don't break your neck.

Liu Bolin The Invisible Man | Amazing Camouflage Art by 35-year-old Liu Bolin, from Shandong, China, manages to camouflage himself in any surroundings, no matter how difficult they might be.

One single photo takes up to 10 hours to prepare – Liu uses himself as a blank canvas, and with a little help from an assistant, he paints his body to merge as seamlessly as possible with what is behind him. The results are incredible – sometimes passers-by don’t even realize he is around until he moves.

The talented Liu Bolin says his art is a protest against the actions of the Government, who shut down his art studio in 2005 and persecutes artists. It’s about not fitting into modern society. Despite problems with Chinese authorities, Liu’s works are appreciated at an international level.
