Just yesterday pictures surfaced all over the internet about these Lebron 9's. At first glance they look almost exactly like an HyperDunk to us with the LBJ V3 outsole. From the pictures you can clearly see they are rolling with the Zoom in the front and Air Max unit in the heel just like the V3. We are thinking that Lebron's team just like the Jordan, is trying to put more of that focus on performance more so than lifestyle with this years signature sneaker. We are still reserving judgement on these until we see them in person. Stick with us because we are sure to show you possible video once it appears with the back story and all the performance breakdown on these 9's.
Images hit the web earlier today and it comes as no surprise that MS has the early pictures of them. These "Miami Night" LBJ 8 lows are looking fresh in our opinion. We don't know yet if these are going to be as hyped as the "Sprite" that released last month but these will definitely be a neck breaker. Stick with us for more info on these as price and release date surface.
So just when you thought things would slow down after all star game with Lebrons huh??? Yeah right...The "Summit Lake Hornets," "Entourage," and "Yankees" colors will all release this Friday March 4th for $160. Which ones will you be copping?
We are going to keep you up to speed all weekend long with the releases that will pop up online with the NBA All Star weekend event, shoes, celebrity, etc. This has been one huge week with releases as far as we can think back. Below are just some shots on what has released for All Star game weekend. The KD3 that he will be rocking on court Sunday, Both Kobe and Lebron kicks released this past Thursday, along with the "Kobe" foamposite mock up in the Air Force 1 High and Low. Did you cop any of the kicks below this week?
So a few days back we showed you the Lebron V3 in the Wht/Blk/Red colorway. These don't seem to be as well received just yet by the pictures from comments we see posted on them. However, the truth will come out once these release and people that will use them for performance actually get a chance to test drive them. We want to know your thoughts on these? No release info at this moment.
So here we go with the 3rd and final version of the Lebron 8 collection. The V1 had more luxurious leathers on the upper, V2 stripped away about 1oz from the shoe and used lighter mesh materials replacing the leather, and now we see the V3 using the FUSE material from Nike. The cushioning system has also been modified in the V3 using NIke Air Max in the heel area and Zoom Air in the forefoot. While these might be ideal for on court use we are not sure how the streets are going to take to these being used off court. You be the judge and let us know!
Pictures were caught online last year by the man himself DJ Clark Kent when he posted up a twitpic of them on foot. The whole concept behind these V2 "Entourage" editions came from one of Lebron's favorite HBO series show Entourage. No official word yet if these are going to release to the public at the moment but keep checking back for updates. Notice something as simple as the Entourage book cover colors took the inspiration behind them using the type of colors they did.
Just as we see each year pictures of the 2011 All Star Game Lebron 8 has now surfaced on the web. Keep in mind that the NBA All Start Game will be held in Los Angles this year. It appears as if they are running with that same royal/carolina blue for the team colors. We just so happen to be on the fence with this color and just say we are reserving judgement yet again to we get a pair in our hand. More details and information to come on these for Feb.
We have showed you quite a few pictures of what we are calling "The best built shoe of 2010" in past post. As we get closer to the Jan 8th release date other pictures of the this V2 pops up online. The official color besides the "Christmas Edition" Lebron rocked will be the only other general release V2 to actually hit Nike accounts for the new year. Expect to see the V2 of the Lebron 8 to release each month over the next couple months in different colors. Thoughts?
Nine times out of ten you can always count on the homie Clark Kent to preview the madness and keep the internetz buzzing. These are recent shots from Clarks twitter post over the past few days with a few little gems amongst many that sit in his possession. The streets are dubbing the first joints "Summit Lake Hornets" and the second picture "Entourage." No official word yet on if either of these kicks will release to the streets but we can now sit in awe at what we have posted. Keep it locked here once we get more info!
The Lebron 8 is seriously becoming one of our favorite shoes for 2010-2011. Just the whole concept that Jason P. and team came up with having the shoe being broken down into different versions in genius in our opinion. The White/Black/Red pictures below are scheduled to hit sometime in January and retail will still be for $160. This is the second version of the Lebron 8 that will hit retail just as the "Christmas Editions" did in Dec. We look forward to these coming in as well and will definitely put up those comparison pictures once in our possession.
